Paeonia 'Lorelei' is an Early Midseason Peony Hybrid, bomb, really unusual tomato orangey color, normal grower, strong thick erect stems, has good potential to become part of the “exclusive” list of well paid cut flowers, (Don Hollingsworth 1996).

Triple hybrid. 'Lorelei' is a genuine masterpiece, opening flowers show a vivid orange-pink colour - unique in peonies. The rather large flowers fade to a lighter apricot-orange. During the maturing process of the flowers the bases of the flower petals remain deep pink. Flowering time is nearly a week later than Red Charm. Thanks to her very strong stems the presentation of this splendid variety is simply fantastic. 'Lorelei' is a sibling of 'Command Performance' and 'Many Happy Returns', and even more special and rare. Not even all superlatives combined would do this extraordinary peony justice!
